Tech Talk: How NI LabVIEW Simplifies System Design and Prepares for Future Multicore Challenges
In his keynote speech, Truchard discussed how the graphical programming platform of NI LabVIEW can be effectively applied to design parallel applications on multicore processors, simplify multithreaded operations, and utilize its intrinsic parallel dataflow language to simplify FPGA-based application development.
Truchard highlighted that with multicore processors becoming the norm, there is an increasing demand for parallel programming languages that can take advantage of the speed benefits offered by these fast processors. He emphasized that LabVIEW's inherent multithreading structure makes it well-suited for this purpose.
"Given the increasing need for parallel programming languages to leverage the speed benefits of multicore processors," said Truchard in his talk, "LabVIEW is uniquely positioned to meet this challenge."
