"Given that multicore processors are now the norm, there is an increasing demand for parallel programming languages that can harness the speed benefits of these processors," Truchard said. "With its built-in multithreaded architecture, LabVIEW is well-positioned to deliver on this promise."
The event also featured a presentation by Jeff Kodosky, often referred to as the "father of LabVIEW," who provided insights into future versions of the software and addressed current challenges in multicore programming.
